The Massachusetts Republican State Committee consists
of one man and one woman from each state Senate district in Massachusetts.
They function as the Board of Directors of the Massachusetts
Republican Party. They elect the Partys Chairman and officers, who
in turn, hire a staff that runs the day-to-day operations of our Party.
More than mere board members, State Committee Members have several responsibilities
that come with the honor of their title. Among these responsibilities are:
recruiting candidates for the state legislature, assuring that all Republican
Town Committees in their district are properly organized and active, and
serving as a local mouthpiece supporting GOP candidates and policy initiatives.
State Committee Members are elected every four years at the Massachusetts
Republican Presidential Primary Election.
